SMART THINK’S EDUCATION PROGRAM (STEP)
Smart Think’s Education Program (STEP) is available for meritorious students with limited financial means. Applicants who do not fall either of the specified categories and wish to receive scholarship to pursue their education, can apply with STEP.
The Assessment Committee will determine the level of the fee concession which ranges from 10% to 100% of the tuition fee.
Smart Think can consider granting relocation cost including a basic allowance.


Eligibility Criteria
- The eligibility of a candidate is linked to his/her financial needs as assessed by the Smart Think Scholarship Award Committee. The financial background of the applicant’s family will be kept in view in this regard.
- The number of slots will be decided by Smart Think. However, in case of acceptance, the final decision will be of the institution to accept the candidate.
- Funding for slots will continue for the complete duration of the program. In case any students drop out, they will be replaced by other candidates on the waiting list.
- Considering the allocated grant, ST may adjust the total number of scholarships to an extent in order to cover the assessment fees.
MERIT BASED SCHOLARSHIP (MBS)
Merit Based Scholarships (MBS) are awarded only on merit determined by ‘The Assessment Committee’.
A separate application is to be submitted for availing the scholarship. Only those applicants who have good academic record will be considered for scholarship. Smart Think is looking for a candidate who are applying for Merit-Based Scholarship (MBS) on the basis of;
- Scoring 3.7 – 4 GPA
- Academic Strength and Intellectual Curiosity
Grants range from 65% to 100%


Eligibility Criteria
- The eligibility of a candidate is linked to his/her academic background and weightage of credit hrs.
- The number of slots will be decided by Smart Think. However, in case of acceptance, the final decision will be of the institution to accept the candidate. In case any students drop out, they will be replaced by other candidates on the waiting list.
- Considering the allocated grant, ST may adjust the total number of scholarships to an extent in order to cover the fees.

TALENT BASED SCHOLARSHIP
Smart Think invites applications from talented candidates to offer its Talent Based Scholarship (TBS). We are on a talent hunt and looking for outstanding candidates who are in pursuit of excellence and also aims to reach high in their area of interest. The scholarships are awarded to candidates on a talent basis ranging from 35% to 100% to be decided by ‘The Assessment Committee’.
Scholarships will be offered to the candidates who have any of the following skills or have a unique talent, who want to polish their skills while completing their education.
The categories in which candidates may apply;
- Band Vocalist/Singing
- Calligraphy
- Community services
- Creative Writing
- Dancing
- Debates
- Games (Cricket, Hockey, Baseball, Basketball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Swimming, Chess, Weight Lifting, etc.)
- Graphic Design
- Instrumentalist (Pianist, Guitarist, Flute, Tabla, etc.)
- Painting
- Photography
- Poetry
- Sketching
- Skills in ICT
- Stand-Up Comedy
- Theatre
- Videography
- Visual Arts


Eligibility Criteria
- Must have a performance record in any one or multiple categories. This record will be cross-referenced for verification.
- Candidates, that have taken the Smart Think assessment and have been vetted will be eligible on the basis of selection criteria.
DISABILITY SCHOLARSHIP
Many institutions and organizations today offer financial aid for students with disabilities in the form of scholarships, opening the way for better educational opportunities. Students with disabilities can apply for awards and scholarships intended for disabled students in general, or relating to a specific disability.


Eligibility Criteria
The most common Disability Scholarships available are
- Autism Scholarships
- Wheelchair User Scholarships
- Learning Disability Scholarships
- Veteran and Military Scholarships
- Scholarships for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired
- General Scholarships for People with Disabilities
- Blind, Low Vision, Visually Impaired Scholarships
However, disability scholarship is not restricted to this particular list, as many institutes consider offering scholarships for other disabilities when applied.
