1. What does Smart Think Offers?
Smart Think offers careers tests, career exploration model, career content and profile building tools for facilitating career decision making. These tools work across an individual’s lifetime and provide the necessary decision support in the new age career models. Our product/solutions have a well-researched base in career and decision theories, analytics and psychometrics.
2. Can these careers tests & assessment test be used globally? Or are limited to any particular country
The tools are based on the framework which is the largest open source career database in the world. The career taxonomy is very comprehensive, which can be linked to career standards worldwide.
The founding team at ST have been working on researching and validating the usefulness of data in an international context since 2021.
3. Will these help me in choosing my subjects /careers/ courses in school /college?
Career assessments can work for recommending careers across the spectrum of the world of work.
4. Are the career assessment tests all are paid?
As much as we would like some of our assessments to be free, we do have bills to pay. Please check the Career Tests Inbox section for more details.
5. In how many countries do we forward the students profile?
We provide Scholarships and Educational Aid across 4 Continents over 30 Countries with our 485 Partner Institutes
6. Why are you charging $99?
$99.99 is our service fee for our Scholarship Program where we conduct assessments and process your application to those institutes where you can get accepted. This is based on the score of your assessments as well as the institute that offers your desired program.
7. How soon I get my assessment done?
Once you’ve applied for the Scholarship Program, you’ll receive your assessment invitation via email. Invitations can take up to 2 weeks in which your assessment date will be mentioned including the timeframe you need to complete it in. Incase you’ve missed your assessment, you can email Smart Think and we’ll issue you a new date. A max of 3 attempts are allowed incase any applicant misses their assessment.
8. Is the amount refunded for assessment?
All our paid assessments are no refundable once the assessment is taken.
9. What happens if I miss my assessment? Am I able to reschedule it?
Incase you’ve missed your assessment, you can email Smart Think and we’ll issue you a new date. A max of 3 attempts are allowed incase any applicant misses their assessment.
10. Do you share the results of the assessment?
Yes. All the results of the assessments are shared directly with the applicants. Successful candidates are also informed of the next steps in their application.
11. How does the Scholarship Program work?
Select the Scholarship you wish to apply for and fill out your required details.
You’ll receive an email about the Assessment Schedule.
Once your Assessment is cleared, you’ll receive the list of Institutes that will be able to accept you.
After selecting your desired universities, you’d be required to clear their interview. Interviews are usually in 2 stages.
Stage 1 – Written Assignment
Stage 2 – Face-to-Face Interview
Once you’re selected for a Scholarship by any university, you’ll be informed by them and receive your confirmation along with visa application.
Smart Think will begin your placement process.
12. Do I need IELTS?
IELTS is only required once you’ve been selected and cleared for the scholarship by an institute. If they require you to do IELTS, Smart Think will sponsor your IELTS preparation & exam fee. If IELTS is not required by the institution, you will not need it.
13. Who pays for my Visa and Ticket?
After being accepted by a university, students will receive an invitation from the University that will be used to apply for Visa in the respective embassy. Some Universities either process the visa themselves and offer ticket. Most students have to pay for the visa and ticket themselves. This information is always confirmed and conveyed by the institution students get selected in.
14. Who Pays the Local Cost?
Relocation cost such as visa, ticket, housing, travel and local health insurances are covered by the applicants after they’ve been approved for their respective scholarship program.
Note: Some universities pay for the initial cost but this information will be made available by the institution to the selected candidates.
15. Refunds
Smart Think process every application in over 100 institutes, the cost of which does not allow us to offer any refunds.
16. What if I have Gap in my studies?
Students who have a maximum gap of 2 years in their studies can apply for scholarship program.
NOTE: Some universities accept students for scholarship with a maximum of 1 year gap. You can still apply for scholarship but the pool of universities narrow down.
17. What if my study gap has been for over 2 years?
You can choose our CONSULTANCY program for $9.99 and our experts will guide you to become eligible for scholarship again.
